30.06.2009 - 01.07.2009 ZAGREB (CROATIA) – In Zagreb on 30 June - 1 July 2009 was held Rail Investment South East Europe conferences (REE 2009) with main topic - the future development of the SEE network with emphasize on Corridor X and V. During the conference the regions leading figures from the regions rail sector discussed and share experience and opinion of the current and future development of the rail networks. This two day conference which was hosted by HZ and sponsored by Talgo also provided insights into the latest and future projects, future rolling stock procurement, and challenges facing the networks.SEETO Railway Expert, Mirjana Bugarinovic presented condition of SEETO Railway network, emphasizing priority investment projects for Corridor X and V and ongoing RWR/RSA Project. The main message was that regional cooperation in SEE region and harmonization at railway restructuring and investment is possible.
