25th SC Meeting

VLORA- The 25th Steering Committee Meeting of SEETO will take place in Vlora, Albania in 08th of July.The participants are going to disscuss about TEN-T review and its implications for the region, the priority list of projects of regional interest and soft projects in MAP and the presentation of MAP 2011-15 (first draft) and calendar of realization will be an important topic as well.

Serbian Transport Master Plan presented

BELGRADE – Serbian Minister of Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjic presented Transport Master Plan for the Republic of Serbia at Palace Serbia. He pointed out that this is a first Master plan for road, railway, air and IWW transport in line with European standards. Minister Mrkonjic stressed that making Serbia as part of Trans European Transport Network, we are creating European Serbia.

TEN-T days held in Zaragoza

ZARAGOZA - The TEN-T days are held in Zaragoza on June 08 – 09, 2010. The conference brought together the Commission, Members of the European Parliament, ministers and other high-level representatives of the Member States, as well as representatives of South East Europe transport ministries and SEETO.
This year`s conference was dedicated to TEN-T Policy Review process which is ongoing and other highlights include:
•    Presentation of a recent working document on the revision of the planning methodology for the TEN-T
•    Presentation of the 2010 Progress Report, in which the development of the 30 TEN-T Priority Projects is assessed
•    Nomination of three new European coordinators for the TEN-T Priority Projects and
•    Signing of three Memorandums of Understanding for three key European transport projects ranging from the Baltic countries to the Iberian Peninsula.

The 11th Meeting of the Railway and Intermodal Working Group in Podgorica

PODGORICA-  The 11th Meeting of rail and Intermodal Working Group was held in 8-9th of June 2010.Participants discussed in experts level  the  results of the NETSTATE study of 2009 and conclusions of the CREAM project .In the round table members of the Rail Working Group  gave an overview of the rail  reform  and rail market monitoring  since September 2009.
